Beyond the Brew - wine & gin bar extended for 2026

When our much-loved festival is back this spring, you will see an expanded wine and gin bar from Morgan Edwards. With a carefully curated range of wines, including red, white, rosé, and sparkling options, alongside an excellent selection of gins to suit all tastes. Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast, gin lover, or simply looking to try something new, the bar offers a nice alternative to the traditional beer focus.

New Venue announced for 2026

WE’RE BACK for 2026! And we have a great venue for the festival - EGERTON PRIMARY SCHOOL grounds. Our famous charity beer festival will return in May next year, bringing the same winning formula of great beer, live music, and community spirit to our new venue at Egerton Primary School, right in the heart of Knutsford. As in previous years, we will run the festival at four sessions across three days: 28th, 29th & 30th May 2026.

£13K raised for charity at KBF2024

Last weekend we celebrated our 10th Anniversary for the festival with an amazing 3 days at Egerton Place in Knutsford. We had a record turnout for the three-day celebration of beer, gin, wine and cider: 994 ticket-holders visited the event plus an additional 136 sponsors joined the opening session, making the total number of visitors a record turnout of 1,130 people. Collectively, we have managed to raise £13,000 for our two nominated charities: Hope Central and Stable Minds.

£10K raised for charity

Knutsford Beer Festival raised £10,000 for charity. The money will be split equally between the Toy Appeal and Knutsford Primary Schools PTAs via the Schools Ball Association. The sold-out event saw over 800 people attending the historic Beer Festival in Egerton Place, Knutsford.

The multi award-winning Tiny Rebel, established in South Wales, is currently celebrating its eighth birthday and were one of the trailblazers in bringing craft beer into the mainstream. This 4% rhubarb & custard sour is tart without giving a face-contorting tang.

Beer Guide #5: Faith, Modern Pale Ale from Northern Monk.

Northern Monk - named after monastic brewing practiced across the region for thousands of years - was established by Russell Bisset in his parents' cellar with a £5,000 gift from a grandparent. Now based at The Old Flax Store, a grade II-listed mill in Holbeck, Leeds, the brewery is one of the leading lights of the craft scene.

The Toy Appeal

The Toy Appeal is one of the charities we have been able to support with the KBF Community Fund this year. We went to visit them at the Toy Sort - where a team of dedicated volunteers sort lorryloads of toys into 5,000 sacks for underprivileged children in the North West.
