£13K raised for charity at KBF2024
Festival volunteers & sponsors ‘cheers’ the £13k raised for charity at KBF2024
Last weekend we celebrated our 10th Anniversary for the festival with an amazing 3 days at Egerton Place in Knutsford. We had a record turnout for the three-day celebration of beer, gin, wine and cider: 994 ticket-holders visited the event plus an additional 136 sponsors joined the opening session, making the total number of visitors a record turnout of 1,130 people. Collectively, we have managed to raise £13,000 for our two nominated charities: Hope Central and Stable Minds.
Live music kept the party going at all sessions opening with Masie Farber on Thursday evening, Bexton Dads band ‘Instant Vintage’ on Friday evening and ‘Vox Americana’ on Saturday evening. Festival-goers had a huge choice of 48 beers and ciders to sample as well as gin, wine and fizz from the Morgan Edwards pop-up bar. All guests were given a special 10th anniversary glass which had been generously sponsored by local businesses, TUKEA and PODCASTR. Speaking at the event, Marianne Evans, Owner of Tukea told us,
“It’s great to be a part of a community event like this is. The team all put so much effort in to making it a great party for everyone. It’s just fun! I’m really pleased I was able to sponsor the festival and help them raise lots of money for charity. And I love the glasses, such a cool design. We’ve got a few boxes here to take home so we will be remembering this year’s festival for many years.”
The Knutsford Beer Festival will return next year, and will be looking for a vacant venue to house the event. Enquiries about sponsorship and volunteering can be made through the website.
