WE’RE BACK for 2026! And we have a great venue for the festival - EGERTON PRIMARY SCHOOL grounds. Our famous charity beer festival will return in May next year, bringing the same winning formula of great beer, live music, and community spirit to our new venue at Egerton Primary School, right in the heart of Knutsford. This year’s event will take place under a large marquee set up on the school playground, creating the perfect space for us all to enjoy a weekend of fantastic local flavour and entertainment.

As in previous years, we will run the festival at four sessions across three days: 28th, 29th & 30th May 2026.

Thursday Evening, Friday Evening, Saturday Afternoon (featuring the ever-popular Beer Masterclasses) and Saturday Evening. Tickets are £12.50 per session and will go on sale on Friday 28th November 2025 - BOOK EARLY to avoid disappointment.

Since we began 11 years ago, tweeting have raised a total of £62,540 for local charities. The team behind the Beer Festival remain committed to supporting the local community, and this year’s proceeds will go to two local charities: Stable Minds and Knutsford Men’s Shed.

Our Chairman, Andrew Malloy explained how the charities have been selected this year,

“There are so many charities doing great things for the community of Knutsford, it was very hard to choose who we are going to raise funds for at the next festival. But we narrowed it down to local charities that have a direct impact on the people of our town and then took a vote across the team. Many of us see the challenges around mental health and so we were keen to support charities that are doing a lot to help local people with this. Stable Minds and Men’s Shed are both playing a massive part in helping people across the community. I’ve always said, the beer festival is win-win; we raise loads of money to support our local charities, and have loads of fun while we’re doing it!

I’m so pleased we’ve got a venue secured for the festival, that’s always the hardest part. And the team are already busy behind the scenes: making preparations, choosing beers, selling sponsorship, organising the marquee and all the other jobs that need to be done. It’s a real team effort and I can’t wait to see it all come together. For me, it’s the best day of the year.”

You can all look forward to a wide variety of beers showcasing the very best from across Knutsford, Cheshire, and the North of England, alongside a refreshing selection of ciders. For those who prefer wine, fizz, or gin, Morgan Edwards will once again host their much-loved Wine, Fizz & Gin Bar, offering a something for every taste.

Every evening we will have live music, creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy great drinks and good company.

Businesses and local organisations can also get involved through sponsorship opportunities, starting from just £100; which includes access to some festival sessions and a chance to support this cherished community event while gaining valuable local exposure.
