KBF X Hush Brewing Beer Collab: Low Flying Panic Attack, 11% ABV Affogato Imperial Stout

LOW FLYING PANIC ATTACK is an 11% Affogato Imperial Stout born from a collaboration between Hush Brewing and the Knutsford Beer Festival. David Morgan of KBF volunteered alongside the brewers to help craft the beer, making it a true community-led project. Inspired by the Italian dessert affogato, it blends deep roasted malt character with rich coffee influence and smooth vanilla ice cream notes.

One of the most anticipated pours of the weekend will be the return of a true northern icon on the Cask Bar: Boddingtons Bitter, now newly revived and once again being brewed in Manchester. Known affectionately as “The Cream of Manchester,” Boddingtons holds a special place in UK beer history, and its reappearance with Manchester brewing marks a significant moment for traditional cask ale lovers. Its smooth, sessionable profile and nostalgic appeal are expected to make it one of the most talked-about beers at the festival.

New Venue announced for 2026

WE’RE BACK for 2026! And we have a great venue for the festival - EGERTON PRIMARY SCHOOL grounds. Our famous charity beer festival will return in May next year, bringing the same winning formula of great beer, live music, and community spirit to our new venue at Egerton Primary School, right in the heart of Knutsford. As in previous years, we will run the festival at four sessions across three days: 28th, 29th & 30th May 2026.

£13K raised for charity at KBF2024

Last weekend we celebrated our 10th Anniversary for the festival with an amazing 3 days at Egerton Place in Knutsford. We had a record turnout for the three-day celebration of beer, gin, wine and cider: 994 ticket-holders visited the event plus an additional 136 sponsors joined the opening session, making the total number of visitors a record turnout of 1,130 people. Collectively, we have managed to raise £13,000 for our two nominated charities: Hope Central and Stable Minds.

£10K raised for charity

Knutsford Beer Festival raised £10,000 for charity. The money will be split equally between the Toy Appeal and Knutsford Primary Schools PTAs via the Schools Ball Association. The sold-out event saw over 800 people attending the historic Beer Festival in Egerton Place, Knutsford.
